Kid and Maka Chap. 6

Death the Kid

Walking back to my seat I thought
'HOW THE HELL WAS I SO CALM?! I CAN'T BELIVE I ASKED HER!'
I was suprised I was even able to walk and did'nt faint when she said yes.
Waiting at the front of the school I told Liz and Patty they could go home ahead of me and that I was gonna stay out for a while.
When I said that Liz gave me a funny look like she knew what I ment then dragged Patty away with her.
"Hi Kid! Ready to go?" Maka said as she bounced out the door.
"Sure." I said smiling.
As Maka and I walked down the stairs she asked "So where are we gonna eat?"
I gasped inwardly realizing I had'nt planned where.
Gosh! Think Kid! Think!
"Uh, where ever you want to go." I said smiling but with a little sweat beading down my head.
"Okay! I know a great place." Maka smiled her magnificent smile.
Damn she's cute.
"Where is it?"
"It's a little cafe near my apartment. They have good food and awesome sweets." she smiled at the thought of dessert.
"Okay we'll go there. It sounds nice." I smiled at her trying to hide how excited I was to just be here.
We continued walking towards the cafe.
We talked about class, past missions, and how Professer Stein was a real nutcase.
We laughed the whole way. She kept smiling at me and blushing when something embaressing came up.
At the cafe we sat at a little booth and our conversation continued while we ate.
Then Maka's face went a little pink and she stopped smiling.
"Hey... um, I did'nt want to bring it up but..."
"What is it? Is it about Soul?"
"Yeah. I wanted to know if your okay. You know. 'Cause he punched you pretty hard..."
I smiled at her reassuringly "Yeah I'm fine. It was swollen for a while but went down after I put some ice on it..."
"Oh thats good..." she smiled blushing and skwirming a little.
"Kid?"
"Yeah?"
"Will you... kiss me?" she looked away embaressed.
I looked at her my eyes a little wide with suprise and blush over cheeks.
Then I scooted over to her "S-sure..."
Then she looked up and I kissed her.
It was so sweet. Her lips felt so soft and her warmth filled me.
I put a hand on her waist and we sat there a while.
I think we were both suprised that we were kissing in public.
Then... Maka's dad walked in.
"DEATH THE KID...." he looked at me angrily and he was radiating a dark and evil aura.
I flinched away from Maka and looked up at him.
"oh h-hi D-d-death Sycthe! H-How are you t-today!" I said to him nervously sweating like crazy.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY SWEET MAKAAAAA....?" he said as he grabbed my shirt.
Oh crap! This is'nt good!
